Brandon Sultan

Consulting Autism Leading Expert

Dr. Brandon Sultan serves as a consultant for the care of patients with autism at Integrative Psych. He is a Fellow in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at the University of Virginia, a board-certified pediatrician, and completed his pediatrics residency at the University of California, San Francisco.

His work focuses on autism, ADHD, integrative approaches, and developmental-behavioral psychopharmacology. As a LEND Fellow in Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities, he focused on leucovorin and integrative therapies in autism and has lectured on these topics in academic and professional settings.

Dr. Sultan holds master’s degrees in Narrative Medicine and Bioethics from Columbia University and has a background in biomedical engineering from Tufts University. He is Editor-in-Chief Emeritus of Voices in Bioethics, a Columbia University journal, and brings a humanities-informed, family-centered perspective to autism education and consultation.

Dr. Sultan also has a strong interest in the integration of artificial intelligence in medical settings, particularly as a tool to enhance, humanize, and support the doctor-patient relationship. He currently serves as a project lead in the Sultan Lab’s AI Scribe research and development efforts, with a focus on human-computer interaction and the clinical implementation of AI-supported documentation.
